MBD - Night, Day 1

Glancing at the sky, he was caught by the rain amidst some barren land; thirsty land receives the first drop of the season and gladly absorbes it whole. Step sounds quicken as does the drizzle eagerly transforming into storm. A plain field watched the whole scene, so different now than ever before, landscapes transform trying to catch up with men’s tyranny, but they can’t, skies and earth mourn and let change go, happen, exist, all one all the same.

Drenched, the temperature quickly drops following the sun hiding in the horizon. He is late, he should not be, but is. He runs grasping his last breath, one more time, so many “lasts” today, a body fainting, his own, stumbles to reach its destiny as it was meant to. Time flows, lacking honor or consideration and keeps on moving, trampling all in his way.

The body moves, for all it knows is to run, it follows the mind and find no rest… but they will, in the end. Darkness floods the scene and pale light shines bright. Rubbish scattered all along a little passage, in a great dump. Metal scraps, industrial waste, you get the idea.

One day, one death.

...a man condemned to murder one person a day. Child, woman or man or whaterver comes in his way.

In a city, not far from yours...

"Life is not always fair..."

A vagabund holds a can in his hands, a few quarters cry inside, clad in drags and bearing time scars all over his face. A cat rubs its body with his leg.
It's night and the moon stands full and silvery.

Vagabund - "Spare me a dime Sir, a hard crust of bread and a mug of beer is all I ask" - says he, with the disgust and aware unatention of a crowd passing by.

"...in fact, it seldom is."

Vag - "Such is our luck kitty, not every king has a kingdom... or a queen, but I have you" as he kneels to pet it.

History as is has never been told, lies lurk the roots of lore and taint every savvy, every scholar... truth is just for the humble man... or the mad man. Storys are told and forgotten every day, and new ones come yet again to fil the gaps.

Keep telling yourself a lie... it might como truth.

Man - "Excuse me sir, do you know an open bar around here?" A voice from behind stalks the old man and his cat.

Somewhere else...

A man is running, his clothes are in pieces and barely holds a gun in his hand. Man - "Help!" - He yells. Climbs a fence with clumsy movements, "Help me please" cries again with tears shining to the moon. He keeps running until he trips and falls in his knees, Grabing his face and running his nails all over it.
